The Russian national team triumphed over Syria in their final match of the year, securing a decisive victory.
The Russian team took control of the game from the very first minutes, confidently operating in the midfield and on the flanks. The standout player of the match was right-back Ilya Samoshnikov, who emerged as one of the most active players on the field. In the first half, he threatened the opponent's goal several times, including a shot that hit the post and a dangerous moment after a corner when he missed the ball at the far post.
The first goal was scored in the 30th minute following a long throw-in from Samoshnikov. The ball ricocheted to Dmitry Fomin, who mishandled it, but this deflection led to an assist for Osipenko. The central defender of the Russian national team played like an experienced forward, scoring from outside the penalty area.

The final goal occurred closer to the end of the match. Osipenko, who had already scored in the first half, converted a penalty earned by Evgeny Morozov after an active play in the box. By this time, the Syrians had lost one of their defenders due to injury and could not withstand the pace of the Russian team.
