On December 17, Peskov shared that in the upcoming two days, the president would be preparing for the live Q&A. Putin consistently seeks information from government members, Peskov noted. The president is meticulously preparing for the forthcoming live session with citizens and is updating his knowledge base on various sectors of the economy, Peskov explained. The absence of public events on Putin's schedule during these days is specifically related to the preparation for the live Q&A, he added.
During the press conference, foreign journalists will also have the opportunity to pose questions to the Russian leader. Peskov emphasized that Russia continues to engage with foreign media, and it would be foolish to refuse collaboration with those who show interest in the RF.
In 2023, the large press conference and the live Q&A were also held in a combined format. The president addressed 26 questions from citizens and 33 questions from journalists in a span of four hours and four minutes. Putin's statements generated significant interest in global media.
