The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has signed a decree appointing Adylbek Kasymaliev as the new Prime Minister of the republic. This information was provided to journalists by the press service of the head of state.

“The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has signed a decree appointing Adylbek Kasyamaliev as the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — the head of the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and he has been relieved of his previously assigned duties,” the statement reads.

It was also noted that the parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved Kasymaliev's appointment on the same day. According to the press service's announcement, Japarov also appointed Daniyar Amangeldiev and Bakit Sydykov as the first deputy prime minister and as the minister of economy and commerce of the country, respectively.

As reported by IA Regnum, earlier the President of Kyrgyzstan dismissed his namesake Akybek Japarov from the position of Prime Minister, who had been leading the government for over three years, since mid-October 2021. The press service of the head of state clarified that Akybek Japarov is transitioning to another job.
